Glen Mitku is an award-winning film director, screenwriter, and producer known for Alone (2019), Nadia Jaan (2020), Feel Memory (2020), and The Four of Us (2017).
Following high school graduation, Glen moved to New York City in 2013 to follow his passion for cinema. In New York City he studied film and journalism at Baruch College.
A versatile and complete filmmaker, Glen first started working as a screenwriter, 1st AC, and film editor. In the following years, he worked as a Cinematographer all the way up to becoming a film director. He says
" Learning the ins and outs of each field was essential for me to develop as a Filmmaker".
Glen refers to filmmaking as "one of the most technical art-forms", and is often inspired by directors such as Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and Cristopher Nolan.
In 2016 / 2017 Glen worked as a DP and 1st AC on a dozen projects including short films, documentaries, and the comedy tv series "The Four of Us" (2017).
In 2019, Glen solely produced, wrote, directed, and edited the award-nominated short film "Alone". In the following months, he was approached to edit and produce the critically acclaimed and multi-award nominated short drama "Nadia Jaan" (2020). He also worked as a producer in the feature-length documentary "Feel Memory" (2020) alongside award-winning painter and filmmaker Viviane Silvera.
Throughout his career, Glen has worked with notable filmmakers and actors including Colin Buckingham "Mr. Robot" (2017), Director / Actor Henri Falconi "Pi" (1996), and Producer / Director Julie Pacino.
